I apply and develop machine learning and AI methods across life science and health data — from deep learning on protein sequence and structure to large language models on biomedical and pharmacovigilance data.
My work spans data curation, model development, rigorous evaluation and validation, and integrating heterogeneous datasets, with an emphasis on reproducible, version-controlled research. I also mentor junior researchers and thesis students, and collaborate across research, product, and engineering teams to translate advanced ML/AI into deployed, real-world systems.
I hold a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Stockholm University (2024), an M.Sc. in Health Informatics from Karolinska Institutet, and a background in Biotechnology Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology, India.
